A venue for all occasions
Chamberlin Hall is a versatile venue suitable for a number of uses – whether you are looking to run a regular class or club or are need one-off hire for an event, special occasion or business meeting we have a space for everyone.
The Main Hall is a spacious, versatile venue with a wooden sprung floor and high ceilings, making it ideal for both social and active events. With room for up to 200 people standing, 150 seated theatre-style, or 100 for dining, it’s a fantastic choice for weddings, conferences, music or comedy nights, dramatic performances, and private celebrations.
The Side Room provides a more intimate and adaptable space, comfortably seating 30-40 people. While it’s perfect for team meetings, workshops, or small group training sessions, it also lends itself well to activities such as yoga, art and craft groups, or smaller fitness classes. The space has also proved popular as a studio photography venue thanks to its natural layout and privacy. Projection equipment can be arranged in advance if required, making it practical for both professional and community use.
The Side Room and Main Hall can be booked together to provide additional space or a ‘breakout’ area.
Chamberlin Hall is fully equipped with everything you need to host your event. A commercial kitchen makes it simple to provide catering, whether you’re arranging a full wedding breakfast or light refreshments for a meeting. We have fridge and freezer space, a commercial dishwasher and a separate glass washer. A fully stocked bar is also available to hire (or we can charge corkage on alcohol you bring into Chamberlin Hall), bringing added convenience for you and your guests.
CHILDRENS PARTIES
With ample space and high ceilings the hall is the perfect venue for children’s parties.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
With a choice of rooms we can host your events, both large and small.
BUSINESS & CORPORATE
The hall’s side room is perfect to hire for smaller meetings up to 40 people. Or why not use the whole building and use the smaller spaces for break-out’s and workshops?
SPORTS CLASSES & CLUBS
The spacious hall with wooden sprung floor is the perfect venue for a wide variety of fitness classes, clubs and workshops. There’s even a full size badminton court!

Bonzo's Yard
Bonzo’s Yard is a secure dog exercise area at Chamberlin Hall enabling your canine companions to enjoy ‘off lead’ freedom.
Membership to Bonzo’s Yard:
There is a Membership Fee per dog of £25 for 12 months allowing access to the Gate Access Code for the owner.
