We are very proud of the clubs and classes that call Chamberlin Hall home. From the popular bowls club to badminton sessions, theatre school and dance, fitness, darts and snooker and more.
Bildeston Bowls Club
Bildeston Bowls Club was established in 1997 and provides a summer activity that caters to all ages and abilities, perfect for individuals interested in a fun and social game that is simple to grasp yet offers a challenging and strategic experience! The club is affiliated to Chamberlin Community Hall working in partnership to provide a Summer activity that is appropriate for all ages, all abilities and all seeking a fun, social game that is easy to pick up but belies how tricky and tactical it really is!
Matches are played in the local Stowmarket League Monday and Wednesday evenings and Tuesday afternoons against clubs in lovely villages across South Suffolk. Carpet Bowls Club – Tuesday Evening
Our bowls team play local village teams in Division 1 west of the Winter League organised by The Suffolk Carpet bowls association .
We would love to recruit new members to our club and warmly invite anyone wishing to learn to come along to a Non -Match “ROLL UP” evening on a Tuesday at 7.15pm. You will find our members a happy friendly group who will be only too willing to help you. All equipment is provided.

Miss Lesley’s School of Performing Arts
With over 30 years of experience as both a professional performer and qualified teacher Miss Lesley has brought her own style of teaching performing arts to rural Suffolk. Her first school opened in Bildeston, Suffolk in May 2011 and has gone from strength to strength.
Lesley started her performing arts training at the age of 4 years and at 11 years old won a scholarship to attend The Italia Conti Stage School in London. There she trained in all aspects of musical theatre till she was 18yrs old and graduated as a qualified ISTD teacher in modern and tap as well as gaining a diploma in Performing Arts.
