About Miss Lesley’s School of Performing Arts
With over 30 years of experience as both a professional performer and qualified teacher Miss Lesley has brought her own style of teaching performing arts to rural Suffolk. Her first school opened in Bildeston, Suffolk in May 2011 and has gone from strength to strength. . Lesley started her performing arts training at the age of 4 years and at 11 years old won a scholarship to attend The Italia Conti Stage School in London. There she trained in all aspects of musical theatre till she was 18yrs old and graduated as a qualified ISTD teacher in modern and tap as well as gaining a diploma in Performing Arts. Chamberlin Hall Badminton Club – Monday Evening

Carpet Bowls Club – Tuesday PM
Our bowls team play local village teams in Division 1 west of the Winter League organised by The Suffolk Carpet bowls association .
We would love to recruit new members to our club and warmly invite anyone wishing to learn to come along to a Non -Match “ROLL UP” evening on a Tuesday at 7.15pm. You will find our members a happy friendly group who will be only too willing to help you. All equipment is provided.

Ladies Club – First Thursday evening of every month
Bildeston Ladies Club meets on the the first Thursday of each month. The hall is open at 7:30.pm. for members to arrive and our speakers begin at 8:00p.m. followed by refreshments and a chance to chat.
Annual membership fees are £10 and we pay £3:50 to attend each meeting.
We aim to provide a pleasant sociable evening out for ladies, with members ages ranging from their 40s to 90s. The club has just celebrated its 50th anniversary with one original member still attending!
Throughout the year we have talks and demonstrations as well as occasional visits out and plenty of social events. We also raise money local charities. This year we are supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
An example of our meetings for this year includes The History Of Refugees In Suffolk, Beekeeping and a visit from The Wesley Ukelele Band.
The facilities at Chamberlin Hall allow for easy access for those with limited mobility and we aim to be an inclusive and welcoming group.
